Thirsk Tips: Bondi Beach Boy
Won the hard way five days ago, in the manner only a decent horse can achieve.
Five days ago Bondi Beach Boy proved the power of sectionals when winning at Beverley and there is no reason to desert him in the 3.00 Thirsk.
Yet again he won by doing it the hard way, battling Bronze Beau for the lead before seeing off the fast finishing Ypres. To put it into context Bronze Beau faded badly due to the strong pace and finished 7.25 lengths behind Bondi Beach Boy.
There is a danger front-runners in the field take him on again but it’s getting to the stage where jockeys might avoid battling for the lead for fear of ruining their mount’s chances. At 5/1 (Coral), Bondi Beach Boy should be backed again.
