Thirsk Tips: Kyleakin Lass

Heavy rain is forecast at Thirsk throughout the morning therefore expect the ground to be much softer than the current description of ‘good’.

Kyleakin Lass has won on soft ground twice during her career and any significant rain will work in her favour.

So far this season she’s run a couple of solid races; she wasn’t beaten far in a Listed contest at Bath and followed that up with a short-head second at Goodwood a fortnight ago. Travelling notably well, as she always does, she was short of room in the last furlong which probably cost her victory.

She’s gone up 4lbs for that run, but that will be more than compensated for by the slow ground this afternoon.
