Tanawar Returns To Scene Of Recent Win
Won in a higher grade two starts back but trapped behind a wall of horses when trying to quicken at Thirsk last time out.
Tanawar returns to the scene of his victory last month but this time he races in a lower grade for the 5.05 Nottingham.
After that win he finished down the field at Thirsk but ran much better than the bare form.
Held up in rear, he was given a patient ride but as the pace quickened he found himself trapped behind a wall of horses. He finished full of running but a 107.7% finishing speed indicated an inefficient use of energy.
Those who finished down the field have run well since, with three next time out winners coming from the race. I expect Tanawar can make it four.
