Musselburgh Races Tips: Here Now And Why
After experimenting with his trip, he reverts to racing over an ideal five furlongs. Only having his sixth start for Ian Semple.
Since joining Ian Semple in July, Here Now And Why has run two good races and two clunkers. The poor performances were on soft ground over six and seven furlongs, with his best efforts over five. Racing on good ground over the minimum trip, he should go well in the 2.40 at Musselburgh.
Rated in the high 80s as a juvenile, he is now down to a mark of 54, but at the relatively young age of four, he has time on his side. A half-length winner at Hamilton back in August proved that when he has ideal conditions he is a fair performer. That race was a class five 0-70 handicap, today he races in a class six 0-60. His inconsistent profile helps make the price and at the current odds is a value selection.
