Musselburgh Tips: Page Of Wands
Unfancied in three starts but encouraging run when matching a Godophlin winner’s closing sectional.
Page Of Wands has been sent off at 100/1+ in her three starts to date but at Hamilton last time she proved she’s not a complete no hoper.
Sat in rear in a steadily run race (109.2% finishing speed) she look slightly laboured but in the final 3f she really took off.
Page Of Wands clocked the second fastest closing sectional of the race, faster than an 80 rated maiden and similar to the Godolphin winner.
It remains to be seen exactly how good the Godolphin horse is (yet to race again) but the handicapper has given Page Of Wands a chance off a mark of 63.
