Lingfield Tips: Temple Road
Last winter he ran sub-22s for the final 2f at Lingfield on two separate occasions. A useful sprinter on his day.
It was great to see Multitask return to winning form at Kempton last night; he was an impressive performer last winter and one of only a handful of horses to break the 22s barrier for the final 2f at Lingfield.
He warrants respect if he lines up for the 2.40 contest but he’s not the only horse in the field capable of running quick closing fractions.
Temple Road ran 2f sectionals of 21.6s twice on the all-weather last winter and is overpriced on his return to Lingfield.
He shaped well last time out, finishing strongly from the rear at Kempton without ever getting to the useful winner - Salvatore Fury.
Successful three times over course and distance, he is a decent bet at 7/1 (Bet365).
