Wolverhampton Tip: Shypen
Combination of wide draw and steady pace did for her at Lingfield but fastest closer in a race that favoured front-runners.
Good betting opportunities are thin on the ground looking at Saturday’s cards but Shypen has a chance back amongst her won sex.
Last time out she wasn’t beaten far in a good race at Lingfield. The steady pace and wide draw didn’t help her chances but she was the fastest closer, with a 22.06s closing sectional.
The 4-year-old has been largely consistent this winter without getting her head in front and although this is a class 3 handicap on paper it is more a class 4 in reality. Four wins in twenty career starts is a decent strike rate and she can win off her current mark.
