Lingfield Tips: Jersey Bull
Wide draw left him with too much ground to make up last time but nothing came home faster.
Jersey Bull didn’t manage to win after we tipped him last time but he continues to create a positive impression and is given another go in the 3.45 Lingfield.
A week ago, he finished third but his chances were compromised by the draw. William Twiston-Davies accepted his fate and from stall 11 tacked across to the rail.
That meant forfeiting ground on the leaders and unfortunately the pack never came back to him.
The race was run at a solid gallop, 102.4% finishing speed compared to average race speed, but the track was riding on the fast side of standard and the leaders didn’t slow down.
Jersey Bull was the only horse to dip under 23s for the final 2f but that wasn’t enough to make up the deficit he inherited at the start.
Michael Madgwick worked the oracle with Multitask and I expect he can do the same with Jersey Bull.
