Goodwood Tips: Desert Command
Looked a potentially smart sprinter when running a fast time in defeat at Lingfield. Confirmed that promise with victory at Bath last time out.
The 4.35 Goodwood is a hot handicap and sure to provide plenty of winners throughout the season.
Intrinsic was an impressive winner at Ascot last time out and is probably still ahead of the handicapper but I’m sticking with Desert Command who won for us at Bath on his last start.
His defeat by Oh So Sassy on the all-weather marked him out as a potential smart sprinter. He recorded a very quick time for the grade and he rewarded the clock-watchers with a good win at Bath.
He is effective on a downhill track, adaptable regards going, and should run a big race.
