Beverley Tips: Boris Grigoriev

Not stood much racing in recent seasons but was a 100+ rated juvenile for Aidan O’Brien and looks well treated off a mark of 73.

Boris Grigoriev is a horse I tipped up at the start of June, he was a non-runner that day but the same comments apply.

He was once a useful juvenile trained by Aidan O’Brien and although he’s no world-beater he could carve out a decent career as a sprinter.

Returned to 5f, he won his final start of 2013 having moved to Mick Easterby.

If he’s over the injury problems that have limited his appearances, he’s the type of horse who could rack up a string of victories.

He’s unlikely reach a mark in the 100s again but he’s probably better than a 73 rated horse and a big price at 16/1 (Coral).
