Beverley Tips: Arrowtown
Has run three good races this season but without much luck. Just needs a clear run for once.
Arrowtown hasn’t had much luck since moving to Michael Easterby but she is definitely much better than a mark of 73.
On her first two starts of the season at Beverley and Ripon her race was ruined by traffic problems. On both occasions she tried to close off a steady pace but couldn’t find the gaps.
At Doncaster last time out she ran another good race but was just unfortunate to bump into the well-handicapped Duke Of Diamonds. Again, the pace was steadier than she’d like and the winner got first run.
Despite all this she clocked a good closing sectional to earn an adjusted speed rating of 82.
So far this season she has been finishing her races strongly and therefore a step-up in trip doesn’t look like a bad move. If could be the making of her.
