Beverley Tip: Mister Manannan

A useful juvenile, his last run hinted at a return to form. Could benefit from an uncontested lead.

A winning tip last time he ran, there is no reason to desert Mister Manannan. A useful two-year-old he rather lost his way at three, a winter campaign in Dubai didn’t help and his win at Leicester was the first hint at a revival.

In this small field, his prominent tactics should give him an advantage especially if able to bag the favourable far rail. At Leicester he looked good value for more than the margin of victory, there is more to come from this horse.

Further good news is the return to form of trainer Dandy Nicholls, a poor summer by his high standards left his horses almost unbackable.  But seven winners in the last fortnight is evidence that his string are running well again. He is a trainer to keep on side in these last few months of the season.
