Course and distance winner two starts ago and his latest defeat wasn’t as bad as the bare form suggests.
Previous course and distance winner Mercers Row is a big price if he can bounce back to form in the 9.00 Beverley.
He was a winner in this class two starts ago and a repeat of that form should put him in the mix. He likes coming from off a strong pace and will handle the ground, so has plenty in his favour.
His price is bigger than it should be on account of his poor run at Redcar last time out. Although he finished 10th it wasn’t a bad run. He was only beaten 5.5 lengths and the sharp track probably wasn’t to his liking. At 9/1 (Betfred) he is overpriced.
