Bath Tips: Barroche
Finished second at Windsor but earned a useful adjusted speed rating of 74 despite suffering a wide trip.
Barroche, Tiggaliscious and Speed Freak finished 2-3-4 at Windsor eleven days ago and I expect Barroche to come out on top again.
She travelled more strongly, for longer than the other two despite enduring the widest trip. Off a steady pace she also clocked the fastest closing sectional of the trio (0.14s fastest than Speed Freak) and earned the best adjusted speed rating.
Clive Cox has an impressive 19% strike rate (18-97) at Bath, which improves to 25% (4-16) when limited to 2-year-olds only.
Unless one of the debutants proves above average, she has a terrific opportunity to lose her maiden tag.
