Sony Open Golf Tips: Kevin Na

Has two top-5 finishes in the last five years here. Made big improvment in driving accuracy last season.

To succeed at Waialae two elements of your game need to be working: accuracy & putting.

In the last couple of years Kevin Na has excelled at one or the other: 25th for driving accuracy (2012), 8th for strokes gained putting (2011). The challenge for 2013 is bringing both of them together during one season.

If the 29-year-old can get both facets of his game working in tandem then he has an excellent chance of winning the Sony Open. It is a tournament he’s enjoyed good results at before. In his last five visits to Honolulu, he’s finished T4-T5-T52-T20-MC.

With a tour victory already under his belt, this could be the year Kevin Na really kicks on. At 50/1 (Skybet) he looks a good each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
