Formula 1 Betting Tip: Red Bull Are Flying
Did their best to throw away the constructors title last year but still won. Pressure is off this time, they should win at a canter.
In the constructors championship I’m shocked to see Red Bull odds against. They had the best car all 2010 and early season testing suggests they are ahead of the pack again, albeit it with Ferrari slightly closer.
It is worth remembering that Red Bull finished 44 points ahead of McLaren last year and 102 ahead of Ferrari. The margin should have been even larger if the tension of a tight Championship hadn’t affected their drivers. Remember Turkey or Korea anyone?
Now the pressure is off I expect less driver errors and of the top teams Red Bull have the best driving partnership, even though Webber and Vettel would loath to admit it. Nearest rivals in the betting Ferrari have Alonso, but Massa has looked distinctly out of sorts and neither McLaren nor Mercedes have the car to challenge.
To butcher their catch phrase, “Red Bull it gives you winnings”
