Everton v WBA Tip

The Toffees are the better team but they rarely win by much.

We’re going for the same tip that delivered for us at the weekend because the same patterns and logic apply. Everton are unappealing at best odds of 8/13 (Coral) to win, but at 14/5 (Ladbrokes) they are definitely worth another look for the victory by one goal.

I commented before FA Cup weekend that the last five top flight victories enjoyed by the Toffees have all been by a one-goal margin. True to form, they then went and knocked out Bolton at the Reebok by a 2-1 scoreline.

West Brom are on a slump after six winless games in all competitions and they have not been aided by Peter Odemwingie trying to engineer a move away from the Hawthorns. This is a testing period for Steve Clarke for whom everything was going swimmingly earlier in the season.

The good news for the Baggies boss is that his team remain competitive and are rarely if ever embarrassed. The last three defeats have all been by a solitary goal which should offer the Scotsman hope, not to mention us in regards to a potential winning tip.
