Writing On The Wall For Pictograph
Has run well in two above average maidens and should continue progressing with a step up in trip
The 1.10 Lingfield isn’t the strongest maiden around and it is considerably weaker than the last two Pictograph has contested.
Last time out he finished third but the leading trio were lengths clear of the fourth placed horse and the form has been franked with runner-up War Glory winning next time out.
Pictograph got slightly outpaced as the gallop quickened 2f out but he stayed on nicely and should be suited by the step up to a mile.
On his last two starts, he’s earned adjusted speed ratings of 69-73 and if he continues progressing he should win at 13/8 (William Hill).
