Wolverhampton Tips: Manjaam

Manjaam ran well to win at Chelmsford last time out and can defy a small rise in the 8.15 Wolverhampton.

Ed Dunlop’s colt beat some good horses in Ice Royal and Theydon Grey and earned a useful adjusted speed rating of 73. The handicapper has put him up 5lbs but crucially he still qualifies for 0-75 handicaps.

After his Chelmsford win, connections said Manjaam would improve over further but he doesn’t lack for pace after running the second fastest closing sectional of the meeting.

Manjaam looked slightly green last time out, carrying his head awkwardly before knuckling down to work. That suggests there is more to come and he looks a useful prospect.
