Wolverhampton Tips: Fire Jet
Won twice last season and unexposed at the trip. Ran sectional and overall speed ratings that suggest she could be better than her mark.
Not too much to get excited about this Monday but Fire Jet might be a bit better than her odds in the 3.50 Wolverhampton.
Last season was her first on a racetrack and she progressed nicely, winning to races in late summer. Her win at Windsor was particularly impressive, she ran a fast closing sectional and the overall time was good, giving her an adjusted speed rating of 80.
She was unable to win either of her last two starts but again ran well. There is plenty of stamina in her pedigree and the step up in trip plus any improvement with age, could see her go on and defy a career high mark.
