Chelmsford Tips: Higher Court
Ran good race at Kempton but suspicion he’s better at 7f having run well at the track and trip in December.
Higher Court ran a good race when we tipped him 10 days ago at Kempton and the step up in trip should work in his favour in the 8.15 Chelmsford.
It’s hard to criticise his last run, he tracked a strong pace and finished the race well, beaten only 2.25 lengths but his best performance for Emma Owen was over 7f at Chelmsford in December.
In the same grade, he was only beaten 1.25 lengths and the time was reasonable for the class. The 9-year-old is unlikely to be improving but he is very lightly raced and is starting to build a consistent body of work.
Higher Court is Tom Queally’s only ride of the evening at Chelmsford and he can make it count.
