Windsor Tips: Tidal’s Baby
Finished in the top-3 in five of his last six starts and has won at a higher grade this season.
Persistent heavy rain on Sunday means you are looking for a soft ground horse in the 3.35 Windsor and that favours Tidal’s Baby.
Tony Carroll’s sprinter has been in fine fettle this summer, finishing in the top-3 in five of his last six starts. He ran inexplicably poorly in the Ayr Bronze Cup but hopefully it was just a blip.
Last time out he bounced back to form finishing a close third at Goodwood. In a race run at only a moderate gallop his run deserves upgrading because he fluffed the start and had to come from the rear of the pack.
He races off a career high mark this afternoon but he has won at a higher grade already this season so I suspect there is still some headroom in his handicap mark.
