Windsor Tips: Lee’s Hall

Windsor Tips: Lee’s Hall

Has a workable mark of 70 considering he clocked an adjusted speed rating of 72 on his penultimate start.

The 3.50 Windsor is an ordinary looking handicap and one where Lee’s Hall can exploit a lenient mark.

Two starts back he couldn’t quite reel in the leaders when closing off a steady gallop. However, he clocked the fastest closing sectional in the race and earned an adjusted speed rating of 72, higher than his handicap mark.

He was slightly disappointing on his next start but there’s every chance he’s improved again after a 144-day lay-off.

Lee’s Hall tackled soft ground when an unlucky fifth at Goodwood last season, trapped behind a wall of horses he was last off the bridle and better than the bare form. After the race the stewards held an enquiry into the ride.

The horse has moved to Murty McGrath over the winter but Shane Kelly takes the ride and can make up for his aberration at Goodwood with an 11/2 (William Hill) winner.
