Storm brewing at Lingfield

This recent run of unplaced finishes doesn't tell the full story and offers us a value bet.

The morning withdrawl of short price favourote Estonia has contracted the prices in the market but there is still value with Efistorm in the 2.30 at Lingfield. The Conor Dore 10 year old has been in excellent form but this is masked by his poor finishing positions in his last three runs of 664.

Last time out Efistorm was forced to take the inside route at Lingfield leaving him on the slowest part of the track. Previous to this he finished 6th at Wolverhampton, always posted wide due to his poor draw in 13. In the first of his three recent blows he was stopped in his run at Kempton and would have almost certainly placed.

Efistorm only finished a head behind today’s favourite Estonia last time out yet was four times the price this morning. Even with the NR he is still value.
