Seraphima Can Shock Again
Seraphima won last time she raced in this grade and has shown the odd glimpse of ability this winter.
Exactly a year to the day Seraphima was a big winner for this column and perhaps lightning can strike twice in the 4.25 Chelmsford.
Having been largely out of form for most of 2015 she hinted that the fire still burns with a close fifth place at Wolverhampton on 18 December. She travelled strongly in rear and clocked the fastest closing sectional in the race, in another 100 yards she might have won.
After a lacklustre effort on 30 December, it looked a false dawn but she regained the thread when sixth last time out, in an above average race for the grade.
This afternoon she drops into class 7 company for the first time since her win and at 7/1 (Bet365) we go again.
