This unexposed 16/1 shot comes from a yard amongst the winners and she could leave her old form behind.
The 2.50 at Lingfield is a race to tread cautiously in. Black Baccara is the short price favourite after her impressive win last time out but she had everything go her way that day as the pace setters collapsed in front of her. A step up in trip to a distance which she is 0/8 isn’t ideal either and she has to be taken on.
In a race without much pace Seeking Rio is a live contender. She finished third last time out in her first race over a year, that was a good performance considering she was always chasing a strong pace. She will need to avoid the ‘bounce’ and step up on that form to win today but this is only her sixth start and she comes from a stable amongst the winners. The 16/1 on offer more than compensates for the imponderables.
