Reap Rewards With Harvest Mist
Unlucky to run into a progressive sprinter last time out but comfortably clear of the third horse and registered a good time.
Harvest Mist was well supported on his last start, backed from 25/1 to 8/1 and although he didn’t win, he ran a fine second to justify the market confidence.
Connections can count themselves unlucky because they ran into the progressive Welsh Sunrise but Harvest Mist still beat everything else by at least 2.75 lengths.
The 6-year-old was slightly flattered by the margin of his half-length defeat but he clocked a good time for the grade, especially taking into account the steady early gallop.
Having backed up market support with an impressive time I’m inclined to believe Harvest Mist is better than this grade and can win the 2.00 Lingfield at 4/1 with Coral.
