Queen Mary Runner Can Show Class
Didn’t see much action after finishing down the field in the Queen Mary but ran well behind Agueroo on belated return last month.
The 1.30 Chelmsford has been decimated by non-runners but Rosealee has held her ground.
Jeremy Gask’s filly must have been highly regarded as a juvenile because after winning her maiden she ran in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. She was well beaten but perhaps something was amiss because her next race wasn’t until the end of December.
She was unlucky to bump into the progressive Agueroo (winner of next two starts) but she acquitted herself well, running an adjusted speed rating of 76. Her handicap mark remains unchanged and she should improve for the run, making her a good bet at 15/8 (Bet365).
