Praise My Lord At Lingfield
Ran well two starts ago and dropped to a mark where he can make an impact in handicap company.
The 4.00 Lingfield is the weaker of the two sprint divisions and I think My Lord can cope with the step up in grade to spring a minor surprise.
He has been plying his trade in sellers and claimers for the last two years but two starts ago he showed enough ability to deserve a crack at a handicap. Travelling well during the race, he didn’t quite have the pace to see off Drawnfromthepast and Hinton Admiral. No disgrace considering they are better horses, who have both won since.
Well drawn in stall one, he should get a decent tow from Hoover. A winner over seven furlongs, My Lord will keep running all the way to the line and at 8/1 (BetVictor) he could prove difficult to beat.
