Polarisation Can Win Again
Carries 6lb penalty but drops in grade after last win. Connections respected at Hamilton.
The Lanark Silver Bell handicap (7.30 Hamilton) has been farmed by Mark Johnston in recent years, winning three of the last four renewals.
This evening he saddles one runner, Polarisation and he must have a huge chance.
He is a previous course winner and although he drops down in trip he seems a versatile sort.
He won a valuable handicap at York last time, recording a good speed rating in the process. Although he carries a 6lbs penalty, that seems more than fair and he actually drops down in grade this evening.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum has a tremendous 28% strike rate (24-87) at Hamilton with most of his successes coming with three-year-olds.
In Polarisation he has another improving sort on his hands.
