Red Charmer has been well placed, racing without a penalty in a lower grade than when victorious 10 days ago.
Connections of Red Charmer should take a bow due to a wonderful bit of placement. After a series of moderate efforts the 6-year-old bounced back to form at Carlisle with a facile 2.25 length victory and this afternoon gets to race in a lower grade off the same mark.
Un-penalised because his win came in an apprentice handicap, Ann Duffield has got him out before he is reassessed, which means he runs off a generous mark of 62.
At Carlisle he tracked a steady pace (106.6% finishing speed) and sprinted away from the field, registering an impressive adjusted speed rating of 81.
Conditions in the 3.30 Hamilton are largely similar, 8f on good to firm ground and against weaker opposition he should double up at 13/8 (William Hill).
