Nottingham Tips: Triple Dream

Bang in form and looks well handicapped racing off a mark 8lbs lower than his all-weather rating.

With several front-runners in the field, they are liable to go too quick in the 2.15 Nottingham setting the race up for a closer.

Triple Dream has ideal conditions, drawn in the plum stall against the rail; he also loves to come from off a strong pace.

It is strange to think of a 7-year-old as an improving horse, but at the very least he is running at the peak of his powers. Not famed for being an all-weather specialist, he went up 11lbs over the winter having bagged two wins.

The handicapper has given him a real chance today as he races off a turf mark 8lbs lower than his all-weather mark, even though grass is his preferred surface!

On his last start, he was unlucky to finish third after struggling to get any sort of run at Folkestone. That was a class 4 race and he actually drops down in grade for today’s contest. We know he is in form, he has won on soft ground and with the race run to suit, he looks a steal at 5/1 with Betfred.
