Nottingham Tip: Danzoe
Off a career low mark and had no luck in running last time. Paul Hanagan has his first ride for the trainer.
Danzoe got no sort of run when I tipped him at Warwick and he can make amends in the 2.40 at Nottingham.
Everything I wrote that day still stands. He is off a career low mark, has been running well from terrible draws and is better than recent results show. You can add Warwick to the list of hard luck stories. As the field rounded the bend, he was travelling well but could not make a move when blocked by a wall of horses.
A drop to five furlongs should not inconvenience him, especially with the guaranteed fast pace that he needs. He has champion jockey Paul Hanagan on board, who is having his first ride for Christine Dunnett; an interesting jockey booking considering he is in need of winners to retain his title. Back Danzoe at 11/1 (Victor Chandler) to get our Warwick money back with plenty of interest.
