No Escaping Houdini
Houdini was a fast finisher on both his last starts and has been crying out for a step up in trip.
For a horse named Houdini, he wasn’t very good at escaping the starting stalls at Newmarket last week. He gave away 3.5 lengths to the eventual winner, the same margin he was beaten by.
If breaking on terms he must have a chance in a weak looking race at Bath.
He ran well two starts back at Salisbury, again being given too much to do but this time due to a wide draw. The moderate gallop didn’t play to his strengths but he finished an eye-catching fourth.
A step-up to 5f161y should give him a bit more time to catch the leaders and at 6/1 (Bet365) he is a good bet.
