Lingfield Tips: Woolfall Sovereign
Won all three times he’s tackled 5f and still firmly on the upgrade.
I’ve been looking hard for reasons to oppose Woolfall Sovereign in the 1.50 Lingfield but unfortunately I cannot find any.
He’s won all three times he’s tackled a 5f trip, and holds the course records at Southwell and Wolverhampton. He’s in the form of his life, the best horse in the race and doesn’t even have to carry top weight.
Stall 8 is the only negative, but with a likely strong pace, the field should be strung out from the start allowing Ian Mongan plenty of racing room. With no apparent chinks in his armour he is the one to back at 11/8 (Paddy Power).
