Lingfield Tips: Welease Bwian
Ran well from a poor draw last weekend and the stable are in tremendous form.
The red-hot Stuart Williams landed us a winner last night with Cincinnati Kit, the fifth winner he’s sent out in his last seven starts. The Newmarket trainer is enjoying a scintillating winter on the all-weather and I’m siding with him again in the 2.15 Lingfield.
Welease Bwian has been knocking on the door but with a bit better luck he can add to his solitary career victory. Last time out he was beaten only 3-lengths despite racing wide from a terrible draw in stall 10.
The race before he lost to the unexposed Polar Venture in a head-bob on the line. That run was near enough a career best performance and from a fair draw I expect him to go close to repeating it.
At 5/1 (Blue Square) he looks the value bet, with the upsides of getting our cash-back if he finishes a close second.
