Lingfield Tips: Waabel
Ran a big race two starts ago, the first four pulling clear of the pack and recording a fast time.
A three-time winner over course and distance, Waabel seems to have regained the form that made him so effective on the all-weather.
Two starts ago he travelled well behind a very strong pace, only running out of matters in the last 50 yards. He lost by a half-length but the first four had pulled 3.5 lengths clear of the pack. Considering the grade, the time for the race was very good.
Since then the form has been franked as the first, second and fourth horse all won on their next all-weather start. The exception so far is Waabel but he can make amends in the 1.30 Lingfield at 12/1 (Coral).
