Lingfield Tips: Temple Road

Won his last two starts, lightly raced and rapidly improving.

With stalls 3 and 4 declared as non-runners, Temple Road’s draw has dramatically improved in the 1.25 Lingfield

As we have noted in our Lingfield draw analysis a bias seems to be emerging at the track, favouring low drawn horses at six furlongs. Given the non-runners, Temple Road’s draw improves from stall 6 to stall 4 and that should allow him to race a lot closer to the inside rail.

A winner of his last two starts, Milton Bradley’s 5-year-old looks deeply progressive. This will be his 9th career start and with very few miles on the clock, he is a horse to keep on side.

Last time out everything seemed to go wrong for the horse, he fell out the gates, raced keenly and then struggled to find room turning into the home straight. The fact he was able to win despite these issues, marks him out as a talented individual.

Although he steps up in class today, at 6/4 (Blue Square) he should be too good for this set of exposed handicappers.
