Lingfield Horse Racing Tips: Sugar Beet
The fast pace should play into her hands. If you overlook her last run in favour of her Goodwood win then she has a chance.
The 3.00 at Lingfield should be run at blistering gallop with the likes of Island Legend, Lucky Art and Billy Red in the field. We are looking for a horse who likes to come from off the pace and Sugar Beet is the only horse who fits the profile.
She ran no sort of race when I tipped her at Pontefract, David Probert reported that she knocked herself leaving the stalls which is a reasonable excuse. Before that she recorded a fast time in winning a handicap at Goodwood.
Her profile is very in and out but on her day she is a useful performer and with the Ron Harris yard starting the all-weather season well she is overpriced at 10/1 with Sportingbet.

The odds on Sugar Beet were cut within 10 minutes of the the tip going live. At 9/1 with Ladbrokes & Stan James the tip is still worth backing.

No better than 8/1 with most firms, including Betfred and William Hill. Still a recommended bet but no lower than 8/1.
