Lingfield Tips: Speak The Truth
Change in jockey could bring about a change in fortune. Jim Crowley has an excellent record at the track and takes the ride.
There is a danger that I follow Speak The Truth off a cliff but he is due a win in the Blue Square Sprint Series and I’m hoping he lands the spoils in the 1.25 Lingfield.
He’s a four-time course and distance winner and has looked terribly unlucky on his last three starts at the track. He races from off the pace and therefore is more prone to interference but one day he will get a clear run and win.
They deciding factor could be the jockey. Nathan Alison, a competent apprentice, has been on-board for his last three runs but Jim Crowley takes the ride today. In our recent ‘jockey bias’ analysis he was ranked the second best jockey at Lingfield and he could make the difference.
