Lingfield Tips: Picansort
Second on his last three starts at Lingfield, including in a higher grade. Has the best form in the book.
Considering the form he showed at Lingfield last winter I’m surprised Picansort is not favourite for the 4.30 Lingfield. He’s finished second on his last three starts over course and distance and was runner-up in the final of the Blue Square Sprint Series. That form is about as good as it gets at this level.
Eight second places and only two wins might put punters off but I wouldn’t’ question his attitude. His main problem is that he cannot quicken off a slow pace but with Flashbang in the line-up, we can be assured of at least an even gallop. That should be enough for Picansort to show his superiority at 6/1 (William Hill).
