Lingfield Tips: New Leyf

Drops a couple of levels in class but arrives in reasonable form. Adam Kirby on board a bonus.

In his last four starts New Leyf hasn’t been beaten by more than 3.25 lengths but he takes a massive drop in class for the 7.10 Lingfield.

The 8-year-old has been plying his trade in class 4 company but now qualifies for class 6 handicaps and should take advantage of the handicapper’s leniency.

New Leyf is a better horse on the all-weather than turf and with Adam Kirby taking the ride he is primed for a big run.
