Lingfield Tips: Multitask

Multitask is an old favourite of ours and at this level he posses a devastating turn of foot.

Michael Madgwick’s sprinter has broken the magical 22s barrier for the final 2f at Lingfield and so far this winter we have seen he retains all that ability.

Back in November, he finished half a length behind Varsovian but was slightly unfortunate in defeat. The pace was solid rather than strong; he made his run against the unfavoured far rail and lost a shoe in the process.

This afternoon he is 7lbs better off with Varsovian and with Monarch Maid in the field he is likely to get the strong pace he needs.

Multitask ran a good race last time at Kempton, again staying on well from the rear after starting from a wide draw. At 11/2 (William Hill) he represents a good bet, especially when compared to the price of the favourite.
