Lingfield Racing Tips: Mishrif
A rare opportunity to race in a lower grade, where his record is: first, third, first.
I’m pleased to see Mishrif running in the 12.50 at Lingfield as he was a late non-runner when I tipped him at 14/1 at Kempton. Today’s race is no more difficult but somehow he is 25/1 (Stan James).
The key to this horse is the class level he races in; let us compare his record on the all-weather in different grades:
Class 4: 9726756866
Class 5: 131
He races in a class five handicap today.
His stable have been amongst the winners lately and his rivals all look exposed. I can’t make a compelling case for anything else in this field, so let’s go with the outsider at generous odds. With nine runners in the field I recommend an each-way bet at 25/1 (Stan James) with 1/5 odds for a top three finish.
