Lingfield Tips: Million Faces
Lacked fitness on her last start at Yarmouth and should come on for the run. Beat third favourite Pucon by 7-lengths last year.
Million Faces finished behind a couple of these at Yarmouth last month but it was her first start in over a year and I expect her to come on considerably for the run.
Rae Guest’s filly must have had problems because she has only raced five times in her career but she comes from a talented family of sprinters and is worth persevering with.
Last year she won a Windsor handicap in a quick time for the grade and like today, it was her second start of the season.
She finished seven lengths ahead of Pucon that day, yet somehow they are similar prices in the betting for the 5.15 Lingfield. That cannot be correct and whilst Pucon is probably poor value, Million Faces is an enticing bet at 4/1 (William Hill).
