Lingfield Tips: Mac Gille Eoin
Revitalised by his new trainer with a series of promising performances. Looks well handicapped on his best form.
There are plenty of front-runners in the 2.45 Lingfield but I don’t think any of them are capable of benefiting from the apparent pace bias at the track. The likes of We Have A Dream, Button Moon and Billy Red aren’t at the top of their games and could just ruin each other’s races.
The main beneficiary of this could be Mac Gille Eoin, who seems to have regained his sparkle with new trainer Like Dace. He ran a good race on his debut for the yard finishing third at Wolverhampton and looked a big threat at Lingfield on his last start before suffering interference in the home straight.
On his third start for the yard, he should be in peak condition and looks overpriced at 5/1 (William Hill) considering his past exploits.
