Lingfield Tips: Liberal Lady

With two wins and six placed efforts from 14 starts on the all-weather, Liberal Lady is a consistent performer, albeit it at a low level. She was a winner last time out and looks the one to beat again in the 1.20 Lingfield.

Joe Fanning gave her an excellent front-running ride on her last start and more of the same should suffice. The only other potential front-runner in the field is Slatey Hen, but she is having her first start in 216 days so might not be fully wound up.

Starting from stall 10, Fanning doesn’t need to worry about any horses on his outside. Instead, if he gets a fast start he can cut across to his inside, get to the first bend with a lead and hamper those behind in the process. If he can pull off this manoeuvre, he should win at 10/3 (Bet365).
