Lingfield Tips: Intrepid

The draw often plays a big part in races on Lingfield’s straight turf track and Intrepid couldn’t wish for better luck berthed in stall 9.

Connections have been using him as a front-runner this season and he should be able to bag the favourable stand’s side rail.

Last time out at Newmarket he showed bright pace but actually did too much in front. His finishing speed was 95.95% of his average race speed which is much slower than par at the track.

Intrepid paid for his effort losing several places in the last 100 yards but he was only beaten 3.75 lengths and ran an adjusted speed rating of 82. That means he has plenty in hand off a mark of 74 with conditions to suit.
