Lingfield Tips: Imaginary Diva
Good strike rate in moderate company and unluckily loser last time out.
The 3.00 Lingfield is a run of the mill class 6 handicap and at this level attitude counts for plenty. This isn’t a concern for Imaginary Diva, with 7 wins from 56 starts, in this grade she is a consistent as they come.
Six days ago, over course and distance, she looked an unlucky loser when she got no sort of run in the home straight. When a gap opened up against the far rail she powered home but the race was already over.
With the majority of her wins coming in small fields, she is the type of horse who goes looking for traffic problems. However, recent sprints at Lingfield have seen the leaders go wide around the final bend. If Jordan Vaughan is brave and waits for a gap, the race could open up for him on the inside.
