Lingfield Tips: Haadeeth
Trainer’s string are in fine form, with a 27% strike rate this month.
With 18 winners in January and a 27% strike rate David Evans can do no wrong at present. He saddles two contenders in the 2.00 Lingfield, with Haadeeth the most exciting of the pair.
Last year he won a round of the Blue Square Sprint Series off 70; proven at this level he looks well handicapped racing off 60 today.
A fortnight ago he was badly hampered when looking for an ambitious run up the far rail. He was only beaten by two lengths, but would have finish much closer with a clear run. Against slightly weaker opposition, this is a 0-65 handicap compared to a 0-70; he looks a good bet at 4/1 (William Hill).
